Leh - Photographic tour

I am planning a trip to Ladakh in April 2014. I am flying to Leh on 13th April 2014, flying back Delhi on the 19th April, 2014. The first day will be spent in acclaimatisation, so I have actually 5 days in hand (14th to 18th). I know the time is short, however I plan to visit Nubra and Pangong, if possible stay overnight at Pangong. Can anyone tell me what are the things that I aboslutely should not miss for my photographic zeal? I know there are too many monasteries, but which are the ones I absolutely must check. Am I missing anything worth taking pictures? Please advise.

Sunny. ZANSKAR is extreme. And I believe it will need a trip of its own altogether. Maybe next time.

Hi Amal B,

I am a serious landscape photographer who plan to reach Leh on 27th April,

however, I have yet to find a single amazing Winter/Spring shot of Leh area over the internet, and now I have doubt about it , the hazy sky worry me the most.

I have heard there would be flower blossom in Nubra Valley starting from early April , which sounds encouraging, but I have yet to see a photo on that either.....

What is your say on this, any research on this?
