Base in Kerala

We, mature couple, will be in Kerala for 2 weeks from Nov 28. Can someone recommend a base for short trips around Kerala.We have been traveling for 3 weeks in N India and wish to limit our moves to just one or two locations.

You can stay in Marari Beach and enjoy the calm bech for a couple of days. Alleppey is just 12 km from there and can enjoy houseboating.

You can stay in Kochi. It is an ideal place to visit

Hill Stations - Munnar & Thekkady

Backwaters - Alleppey & Kumarakom

Beaches - Cherai & Marari

Waterfalls - Athirappilly & Vazhachal
