Need suggestion on where 2 spend 2 nights

I'm planning a vacation in Kerala from Mar 7th for 9 nights.

I have boiled down to spend 1 night in Trivandrum (arrival night in Trivandrum), 2 nights in Poovar, 1 night in Kanyakumari, 2 nights in Munnar, 1 night in Alleppey houseboat. Also I'll spend half a day in cochin as I depart from there.

Wanted suggestions on where should I spend my rest of 2 nights? Will Varkala or Kovalam be a good option or should I plan to spend it somewhere else. I'n not too fond of visiting thekkady.

Please help me finalize on this last thing.

I will suggest you to stay both in varkala and kovalam a day each.

Kovalam has some good beaches

The beach and cliff in varkala is also amazing

this post may give you some more ideas about varkala

I Would suggest, on arrival at Trivandrum proceed to Kanyakumari.

1 Night Kanayakumari

2 Nights Poovar-Kovalam/Trvandrum

1 Night Alleppey Houseboat

1 Night Alleppey Beach Resort

2 Nights Munnar

2 Nights Cochin-Day trip to Athirapally

Hi Rajesh,

Both Kovalam and Varkala are worth visiting. You have got 9 nights which itself is enough to cover most of the tourist destinations in Kerala which a regular itinerary can manage.
