Hi Prashant,

You can have a unique houseboat experience at Alleppey. The houseboat is one of the main attractions of Kerala.

There are a number of trains back to Surat. Well, you can return by Tirunelveli-Hapa Express.

Plan your trip well to have a free relaxed trip. Welcome to 'God's Own Country!'

Cheers,

Hello,

I am from India thinking to spend honeymoon in Kerala in the month of June (15th June). But I am worried about the rains.

Please advise me should i go in june or not. Also suggest a good itinerary for 7 days. Also suggest hotels/resorts etc for each location.

Thanks

He;;o Gurupreets632,

if you can enjoy the monsoon climate i would say that is best time

select dew destinations and stay there for more duration

i would suggest Munnar 3 nights , Kumarakom lake side resort ( 2 night ) with day cruise on houseboat . cherai beach 1 night

tell us your budget , that would help to suggest hotels accordingly

Hello gurpreets632,

monsoon cannot be predicted exactly , normally it sets by June . last year we had rain right till September. now it is not evenly spread out as we could see. most of the rain happens in a week and there are sunny days in between .

so selecting two or three destinations would be ideal rather than covering all the destinations in 7 days

with the budget mentioned you can look for 3 star accommodation as the tariff will be low during off season and now with the government declaring tax reductions during off season the rates would come down much more
