Welcome to kerala,Gods own country

In summer you can visit various hill stations like munnar, thekkady, wayanad etc ,beaches like kovalam, varkala etc, enjoy back waters at resorts in kumarakom,do house boat ride in lapuzha and much more.

you will have sighseeing options from 3 days to 3 weeks in kerala at various spots.

also kerala is much safer place for a family trip than in delhi

so you can definitely select kerala for your trip

Summer will be real hot in delhi. I would suggest kerala. For family, kids and parents this suits well. Look at this travel plan:

There are three airports in kerala - Kozhikode airport, cochin airport and Trivandrum airport. You can either start from kozhikode and board at Trivandrum or Vice-versa.

The attraction of kerala are: Starting from Kozhikode -

WAYANAD:- Kalpatta, Pookot Lake, Edakkal Caves, Pakshipathalam, Lakkidi, Sultan Bathery,Banasura Sagar Dam, Wayanad Wildlife Sanctuary, Neelimala View Point, Meenmutty Falls.Finish this and travel southwards towards THRISUR.

THRISUR:- Athirapally Waterfalls and Vazachal waterfalls, Anakkayam, Guruvayoor & Koodal Manikyam Temple and Parambikkulam Wildlife Sanctuary in Palakkad. Then travel further southwards to COCHIN.

COCHIN:- Jewish Synagogue, Cherai beach, Marine Drive, Santa Cruz Cathedral Basilica, Fortkochi & Chinese Fishing Nets, Mattancherry Palace, Kodanad Elephant Sanctuary, Ezhatumugam Nature Village.

From cochin towards east the following attraction are there:

Munar, Eravikulam National Park, Indo-swiss diary farm, Chinnar wildlife Sanctuary, Anamudi, Tata Tea Museum, Iduki arch Dam and Thekkady where you have Periyar Tiger Reserve.

Then travel downwards to Alapuzha Backwaters where you can have a relaxing stay at House Boat.

ALAPUZHA: Statue of Karumadikuttan, Mannarasala Sri Nagaraja Temple, Revi Karuna Karan Memorial Museum.

From here travel more downwards towards Trivandrum via Varkala beach and enjoy kathakali dance.

TRIVANDRUM: Priyadarshini Planetarium, Vilijam Rock Cut Temple, Kuthiramalika, Kanakakunnu Palace.

Can travel in taxi/bus/train in these areas as they have good connectivity.
