@Lively munnar

Vinay asked 10 day Kerala itinerary.its better to provide information to tourists after understanding their requirements rather than giving travel agents preplanned itineraries.

Also dont understand why you include 3 similar hill stations (munnar,kodaikanal & ooty) to list which also includes a considerable amount of travel too .

7. Re: Suggested South Itinerary

Hi,

First of all, thanks to Arun-Tina, like always u guys have been very prompt in ur replies.

Actually, am working in Chennai but other 7 family members (Age: 40 to 50 - 4 members, 19 to 24 - 4 members, including me) are coming from Kolkata. They would be reaching Chennai on 22nd Sep'14 early morning and return to Kolkata on 5th Oct'14 early morning. Both incoming and outgoing flights has already been booked from Chennai itself. Need 1 day in Chennai and 1 Day for Tirupati. Need ur suggestion to plan the balance trip.

1) Should I cover Chennai & Tirupati in the beginning or at last

2) Would like to cover wild life, adventure sports, backwaters, beaches, hills, waterfalls i.e., a bit of everything that Kerala has to offer

3) Would like to have a relaxing trip (but avoid over stay at any particular location)

4) Not inclined to visit temples, historical sites/places, local festivals, cities

5) Is it worth restricting the entire trip only to Kerala ?

6) Which is worth exploring; Munnar or Wayanad or both ? (Heard Wayanad is better than Munnar)

7) Which is worth exploring; Varkala or Kovalam or both ? (Heard Varkala is one of the best beaches of the world)

7) One option might be: Chennai - Wayanad - Munnar (including Thekkady) - Alleppey (including Kumarakom) - Varkala (including Kovalam & Poovar) - Chennai; but bit concerned about long distance travel.

TOO CONFUSED.....PLS HELP !! (Have a medium budget)

@premsubramaniam: thanks a lot for the advice; has already visited mysore (in dussehra), bangalore, kanyakumari; pls suggest some alternatives.....

@Arun-Tina: looking forward for your advice !!
