In 4 days, you can not have any course of Ayurveda. You could have general massage in most of the good resorts in Kerala. Recommed Coconut Island - a private island in the backwaters of Trichur.

HI Romanova1,

If you are looking at a short & relaxing Ayurvedic retreat (not ailment specific treatment), then the following may be considered,

1. Coconut Lagoon, Kumarakom (5 star - expensive)

2. Kumarakom Lake Resort (5 star - expensive)

3. Kerala Palace, Vembanad Lake, Chempu (3 star - moderate)

4. Kalari Kovilakam, Palaghat (exclusively Ayurvedic)

Just a minor correction - it needs to be speled as 'Alleppey' and not APPLY.

To reach Alleppey from Cochin the cheapest options are buses and trains. Cabs are bit expensive - roughly Rs 8 per km. Travel time is about 70 minutes.

Hi

If you are looking for ayurveda near the backwaters the best place will be Keraleeyam Ayurvedic beach resort. They are greenleaf approved by govt of Kerala and are exclusively for Ayurveda. They are quite reasonable too.

If you need any further help in arranging or getting a better rate contact sinikmathew@gmail.com or visit www.keralaayurvedamart.com
