Varkala in September

I'm about to be for 5 days in mid September in varkala. Is it still rainy in that time of the year? Are there a lot of guesthouses and restaurants that still closed? Is it possible to do some sun bathing? Thank!!!

Hello,in mid September in varkala no more rain.There is many guest houses and restaurants all open in that time.yes,that time possible to do sun bathing.Thank you.If you want budget clean rooms.you can check Keratheeram beach resort .

very pleasent climate yesterday also . it s very sunny today even . almost all are hotels are open . at kshetra resorts it is 1000 rupees per night with breakfast. please visit www.kshetraresorts.com for more must see travel spots in and around varkala( very few knows) once u get there. very informative website and can be suggested to ur friends also . 99% pics are genuine in the website . varkala - a real travel crossection of kerala.if u wanna cut down travel expence . this is just suggetion !!! . u can chk in google maps/ news/ guides etc and find out . coz varkala has beaches ,backwater with houseboat,estuaries,palaces(painter raja ravi varma) kathakali founder museum (kottarakara thampuran museum), british forts, 2000 Year old temples, seafoods, watersports(soul and surf.com)/ elephant rides with in avg 15km radius and nearest tea garden hillstation is just a couple of hrs drive. what else u really need as a traveller in kerala. enjoy without wasting time and money .
