nice place to chillout between Kohima and Kolkata?

hi. i will be traveling in Nagaland in early october, and then going to Yangon (Myanmar) for a week of work. I am looking for a nice, inexpensive place to spend a few days in between, to relax. a beach or mountain village - somewhere not too far from Kolkata, or between Kolkata and Kohima, safe for 1 or 2 females....any suggestions?

Kohima and Kolkata are far apart, 1300km away. It is also not safe to enter Myanmar by road from Nagaland due to terrorist activities in the mountains and border areas.

Digha beach, the nearest from Kolkata. A day trip from Kolkata would be sufficient

Other options:

Mandarmani Beach near Digha, less crowded. Digha gets carloads and busloads of day visitors.

Sundarban Estuaries.

Hi Bobby, sorry for the late reply.

as of now, there is no road connectivity for Indian tourists between Moreh to Yangoon. From Moreh border, one can only go upto Tamu (in Myanmar) on a day trip. It is mandatory to return by evening.
