A night in Ranakpur

We will be on our way to Udaipur tomorrow, do you think spending a night in Ranakpur is worthwhile or it can be visited in few hours when we are on the way to Udaipur (don't like to be in a rush though) or spend more time in Udaipur? thank you all!

Hi ,

Ranakpur can be visited enroute easily, You don't need to rush when yiu decide enroute visit.

You can explore entire complex in maximum 2 hours and Ranakpur to udaipur is only 2 hours drive.

thinks on leisure trip. You can spend a night im Ranakpur . It us just very peaceful place and you don't see much movement after sun down.

You may get discounted accomodation to spend a night in Ranakpur . Ranakpur is neither a city not a town . It is just temple complex and Hotels , the nearest town is at 10 Km distance called sadri.

Have a good time

For the quiet breathtaking scenery the Govt tourist hotel is a great place to stay close to Ranankpur Temple. There are wonderful walks around that area. One of my favourite places in India. Spend a day at Kumbulgarah Fort as well if you like wandering around in quiet scenic places.
