South India itenary help

Vanakkam!

I am trying to put tog a workable itenary for 2 pax mid dec to see South India. 10 days. So far i can think of 2 options:

1)

Want to cover, madurai, pondicherry, some hills, do shopping and any other destination. Either arive and fly off from chennai or thiruchi.

2)

Want to cover, madurai, pondicherry, some hills, do shopping and maybe cut into some nice kerala areas. Arrive in chennai/trichi and depart cochin/trivandrum.

Would like some advice on how best to do this. Or any other better suggestions.

Dude, do one thing

Arrive Kochii, enjoy for 2 days.

Make it like

Kochii (2 days) - Kanyakumari (2 day) - Rameshwaram (1 day) - Madurai (1 day) - PUndicherry (2 days) - Chennai (2 days)

you can also reverse it.. like arrive chennnai and Depart Kochii...

sinayas

the common one hill stations were kodaikanal and ooty.

if you want a new destination you can try meghamalai (beware the roads are not good, many drivers wont come or they might charge little high amount)

and you haven't mentioned what you want to do in 10 days!

if its all temples then suggest you to arrive in trichy

and thanjavur->kumbakonam->chidambaram ->pondicherry

else stratight trichy->pondy-> trichy->madurai-> hill stations-> cochin

Hi Sinayas,

For Hill Stations - Ooty, Kodai. Best Places

Temples: Around Kumbakonam, Thanjavur, Trichy, Madurai.

Beaches-Kanyakumari, Dhanushkodi, Marina(Chennai), Mahabalipuram

Heritage/Culture - Chettinadu

Actually, if you give your exact requirements/idea, we can guide you better.

10 Days are long time frame for a trip and it has to be planned perfectly
