How long does it take to travel from Madurai to Bangalore by road ( private car ) and what is the route ? also are there good luxury buses available for this route ? If so who are the bus operators .

madurai->dindigul->karur->salem->dharmapuri->krishnagiri->hosur->bangalore is the best route. approx 8-9 hours

you check ksrtc.co.in, redbus.in for bus

NH 7 - Fully 4 laned divided highway from Madurai till Bangalore. You can constantly keep 100+ km/hr. You will reach in 8 hrs max.

Tolls are often, have Rs 300 for toll.

We need to travel from Bangalore to trichy.

A few Qs:

Does the 4 lane NH touch trichy? or would we have go to local roads post salem? Whats the estimated travel time for a comfortable drive by car?
