Honeymoon trip from June 5 to 11..How is ooty ?

Hi everyone,

I am from Chennai and I am planning on a domestic honeymoon trip from June 5 to 11..Since monsoon sets in at most places; Kerala, Goa etc. were ruled out by my travel planner.

Darjeeling and Simla also seem to be crowded, with flight costs shooting up.

1) I am planning to settle for either Kodaikanal or Ooty, for a 3 or 4 day trip. Kindly suggest how the climate would be at these places, and as to which would be better.

2) Also, suggest other places within India. Could be a hill station, beach or anything for that matter.

Thanks in advance !!

You can try Valparai and Pollachi in the hills of Coimbatore district.

You can also try Meghalaya (Shillong-Cherrapunji) as an exotic monsoon destination for June. Fly Chennai-Kolkata-Shillong

Hello friend Rakesh,

In Ooty Monsoon starts from nearly second or third week of June. I think your suggestion of Ooty is right but that place is also crowded at that time. So better think about Kerala.

Have a Happy Journey!
