Agra and Jaipur tour from Delhi

Will be in Delhi Dec. 27th and want to start a golden triangle tour on the 28th. Want to see Taj Mahal, agra fort, Sikandra, Fatehpur Sikri and Itmad-ud-Daula. And in Jaipur would like to see Amber fort and Palace, Hawa Mahal, Nahargargh Fort, Jal Mahal. How much time would we need to see all of these places. Would like to travel by train from delhi. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Thanks

You will need 5 nights and 6 days. Delhi 2 nights-- Agra-- 1 night and Jaipur 2 nights. You can do this tour by train and car also. My opinion is car will be better for the whole tour. You can cover all the monuments easily. If you travel by train then also you will need car for the sightseeing and to reach train station.

Dear visitors

As per golden triangle tour you must required 1N in agra and 2Nights in jaipur. for this types of travel you can visit by car and driver. if you want to visit all monuments with hassles free otherwise travel by train too. But as per your dates be careful with weather. Normally much fog in Delhi and agra regions. so trains are delayed some time more than you expected. hope you enjoy your tour with car and driver & cover all major interested monuments as per your choice.

Thanks and regards

Delhi, Agra and Jaipur are very well connected by rail and road. As mentioned by above poster it can be foggy in Dec. in this part of India. Trains are often delayed due to that some time for many hours which may lead to cancellation. However if you want to experience train then travel by Shatabdi train between Delhi and Agra and rest by car. If you are in hurry then 2 nights and three days are sufficient to cover Agra and Jaipur.

Dec may get foggy so it is better to travel by car through out the GT circuit....an ideal time to do the Golden Triangle is 5 nights and 6 days.

Due to fogg,Trains might be getting late in the month of December.

I suggest you to take Golden Triangle package for 5 Night/6 days.

GT are well connected by road and rail.

By train,You can miss many country side monuments.

So,its better to hire a cab for entire trip to make journey hassle free.
