Varanasi to Kerela

On the 5th Feb, myself and my boyfriend are flying into Delhi. We are going to catch a train to Varanasi and then want to progress down to Kerala. I have been researching flights but they are in excess of £130 and include 1 or 2 stops!!

How would people recommend that we travel down to Kerala? We are open to ideas of stopping in different areas - perhaps taking a week to travel down.

Thanks in advance! Jade xxxx

Unless you want to spend a lot of time in a train, you have no choice but to fly via Delhi or Mumbai.

You can return to Delhi by overnight train if you wish, and fly non-stop Delhi-Cochin.

You can look at www.cleartrip.com for flights and prices.

If you want to travel by train then can look at this link:

It is long train journey.

You can go via Mumbai or via Bangalore or via Delhi. Train travel definitely be cheaper but will take time.

Reserve your tickets in AC coaches as it will be comfortable.
