Where to head to find quiet beaches and yoga.

Hello,

I am flying into Denpasar on 4th April. I have until the 15th when I need to be in Java. Would like to so directly to somehwere pretty peaceful and chilled by the beach, then Ubud and Gilli Islands for a few days each - not sure how feasible that is travel wise...?

If anyone can recommend anywhere please do!

If you want somewhere peaceful & chilled maybe research Sanur, shops & plenty of good restaurants, sandy beach but quieter than Legian, Kuta, Seminyak.

You'll find peace & quiet in Amed on the east coast & Meditasi in Aas holds yoga sessions, budget accommodation, rocky beach.

Alternatively you could do your yoga in Ubud but i'm not sure which hotels hold sessions.

If you decide on Amed then you can get a fast boat to Gili T which takes approx 50 minutes. Amed is approx 3 hours drive from the airport, Ubud approx an hour & Sanur is the nearest.

Thanks very much for your help! I opted for Sanur, it seems nice and got a really lovely room for £10 (Yulia 2) but still pretty busy with all the shops so will probably go to Amed.

Thanks again for the advice, really appreciate it.
