From memory I think it is around 90,000 . They have set prices to each location so you cannot barter. Walk up to taxi booth & they list each area and the price. You pay them and then you head off with the cab driver.

We have just come back - had also heard about Bluebird taxi's outside airport but be warned, there is a lot of construction going on at the airport so we just couldn't find Bluebird. In any event, as soon as you walk out with your luggage you will be bombarded with taxi drivers offering "cheap price". We ended up paying 50,000.00 which was pretty reasonable. They will probably start by asking 70 - 80,000 so be prepared to bargain. Enjoy your trip. Wish I was still there ....

airport taxis are about 60 000.the taxi booth is on the right as you leave the airport building.it would be dangerous and stupid to try and walk to the outside of the airport perimiter to try and get a bluebird taxi

When people say Bluebird taxi outside the airport, it really is outside the airport grounds. As you exit the arrivals terminal the airport taxi booth is on the right hand side. Set price to Kuta is Rp 50,000.

If you have luggage it would be quite the walk to get to the nearest Bluebird taxi and the money you save would be small.

If you insist on using Bluebird you can go to the drop of zone and try and hop in a Bluebird taxi which has just delivered guests to the airport.

Best just play it by the numbers and go to the taxi service booth and pay the standard Rp50,000 fee as described in the taxi list here ... tripadvisor.co.uk/Travel-g294226-c108918/Bal…

Kuta Center (Batas Utara Jl. Melasti) Rp. 50,000

You can use Bluebird metered taxis once you are away from the controlled airport situation.
