The Laguna Resort and Spa - Room recommendations?

Hi guys,

My girlfriend and I have opted to stay in a "lagoon view" room, which we hear is very nice!

I was wondering if anyone had any recommendations for rooms with good views, proximity to beach, recently renovated etc?

Ideally we'd get a really modern, recently renovated room.. Any ideas as to recommendations, or blocks/wings?

Thanks as always,

Nick

We stay at the Laguna every year and love the lagoon swim up rooms - these are at the back of the resort and you go straight into the pool from your balcony in your room and are a bit quieter. Not sure about the renovated rooms - they are always clean enough and decor same. Just had an upgrade to a larger TV int he one we stayed in. We do not go to the other pools as the seats are usually always taken by early risers or night reserved the night before. We are rarely on the beach as we like to sit and relax around the back but it is close enough to the beach and restaurants without the noise.

Hi,

Thanks for your reply!

The room you speak of that has direct access to the lagoon - are they the "Lagoon View" rooms, or something else?

Just want to clarify as we have booked a "Lagoon View" room...

Can you let me know?

Thanks,

Nick

Hi we have just arrived back to Australia from our stay at the Laguna and we had a Lagoon View room which was on the second level, (room 248) but if you want the rooms with direct access to the lagoon, you will have to book a 'Lagoon Access' room. We were going to book one of these but were unsure as we hadn't stayed at this resort before, but after just being there we would definitely try and book the 'Access' room next time, even though our 'Lagoon View' room was wonderful it would be nice to be able to just have a quick swim and then get directly back into your room. You will love it there - seriously it ticks all of the boxes. Rooms 250 - 252 looked nice too with lovely views. Hope this helps.. insert smiley face here ..

Laguna has always had a good reputation - the pools are not that wide but they do snake around the hotel - and the blocks.

The Lagoon access rooms do step off the patio into the pool - and there are some very quiet pool areas away from the beach and the crowds - where you could almost imagine that you are in a villa
