Bali or the Maldives ???

Been to the Maldives so i know what the snorkeling is like. Will there be much snorkeling to do in Bali?

Yes, there are quite a lot of places to snorkel in/around Bali but head to Menjangan Island (inthe west) if you have the time - it's part of a Marine Park, so it's nicest there.

But there is also Nusa Lembongan, Amed, etc...

The beaches in Bali are very different from the beaches in the Maldives as well. Don't expect powder white sand and blue crystal clear waters like everywhere in the Maldives.

If you are visiting bali. Do yourself a favour n jump a plane from Bali to Labaun Bajo in Flores and spend a few days snorkelling, so many different spots. The snorkeling is unbelievable, you will not be disappointed? It was just as good as the Barrier Reef. The coral, the fish, n the pristine crystal clear blue waters.
