Hi How far is nusa dua from sanur. Can you easily walk there or do you need to take a taxi

You need a taxi for sure,it can take anything up to 45min depending on traffic conditions.

The new toll road is due to open which will cut the trip but there is no way you could walk it.

Taxi a good option. Yes agree, that's taking time up to 45 minutes. Usually if you go on 5PM, worker form Nusa dua is going home to Denpasar so little bit traffic in Jimbaran area, can take more than one hour.

Bali has a new road from Nusa dua to Benoa, but not open yet. It can save a lot of time.

It is over 20 ks by road so no way would would you be able to walk it.

The new toll road opens 14th August 2013. When open, travel time Nusa Dua to Sanur will be around 7 minutes!

For a bit of local color - you could always take the Sargagita bus service which runs from Nusa Dua - to Sanur - it would certainly be an intersting trip and faster than walking, cost is about 5000 Rp
