Conrad or Nusa Dua Beach Hotel

We've travelled to beautiful Bali a few times now and stayed in different areas so feel quite comfortable with our next choice. In a saying that, helpful comments and opinions are only required for those that have stayed at or eaten at these two properties.

Next year we plan to take our little ones - aged 5 and 3 - for their first trip to Bali. We plan to be resort based for eating, R&R, kids club and activities with the odd trip out in nearby Nusa Dua.

Although the Conrad is more "glamorous" and probably a scale up from NDBH, for a family with little ones, which would you fellow Bali Lovers recommend is best considering a) value for money on accommodation b) value for money at resort eatery choices (honestly, with little ones, we don't expect culinary delights, just looking for decent meals - casual sit down, poolside etc c) quality of staff and activities at kids clubs etc d) good cheap eats close by in Nusa Dua (we've heard Pirate Bay, Nusa Dua Pizza, The Tree, Glaze, Cardemon are good?

Look forward to any feedback.

With little ones Nusa Dua Hotel would be better than the Conrad but I would find Club Med the best place to take children. Food, drinks, activities all paid before you leave home so no nasty shock at checkout. Also, children often don't eat when you want them to,so the all day options make Club Med much easier. You will have a great holiday too especially if they want to join in the petit and mini clubs. Food is amazing at this resort. You do as much or as little as you want at Club Med. It has changed a lot in the last few years and mainly caters to families
