Is coconut oil available anywhere in Sanur?
For cooking or sun baking ? Yes coconut oil is readily available.
Too funny Linda ! Long gone are the days of massage and baking on the beach for me !
I bought some at Hardeys
It's for sunbathing, cooking, eating, a few drops in a bath for total moisturising, great brain food and a wonderful smell as well and totally natural unlike all the chemicals people plaster on themselves to avoid Vitamin D. Sun is gentle in Bali compared to NZ and I intend to soak up those rays, so thanks for the replies guys.
Balijoy, The coconut oil you bought at Hardys, was it for cooking or health tonic? I have always brought cooking coconut oil home from Bali but in Feb this year after scouring every supermarket like Carrefour, Bintang, and every small one in between there was not one bottle to be had. It seems the supermarkets got wiff of the health benefits being advertised overseas and decided to only stock the small bottles used as a tonic. Sold it at the same price as our health food shops in Australia. Could'nt go to the market to buy it as it has to be sealed and labeled for customs. I will be very happy if the one you got at Hardys is the one for cooking.
Hypermarket at the Galleria has it.
hi, thanks for that, I was also looking for coconut oil for soap making but could not find it. will check this out.
there is also a little shop next to Ari Putri that sells it but it is about $8.00 for 200ml.
I once bought very good coconut oil for cooking at Bali Deli but couldn't tell you if they still have it. Worth a try though.
