Just take UK pounds and a credit card. Easily changed everywhere and ATM's plentiful .

Do not change any money in UK as rate will be awful.

You can pay your Visa on Arrival in pounds and get Rupiah in change.

There are lots of money changers as you leave the customs area just change a small amount till you get to a money changer in Sanur. 50 pounds will give you enough money for a couple of days.

See Balibestrate website for latest exchange rates.

Don't exchange any money before you leave just take your own currency. IF you intend to use credit cards then advise your financial institution otherwise your card may get cancelled. Cash is best in Bali for most purchases. Please read our 'Top Questions' on the right hand side of the bali forum home page. Here is the link. We have included money exchange as one of the 'top questions.

Not sure where you're staying in Sanur, there's a good official money changer on the main street, known as:- Jl Danau Tamblingan No68, it's right in front of a small market "Dwi Karya Art Market" Enjoy your trip.
