Airport blues

Hello to all. We have to checked out of our accommodation in Ubud at 10am and have arranged for transfer to the airport. Our flight doesn't leave until 10.20pm. Can we lock our luggage at the airport and is there anything close by that we should see? Many thanks.

How about leaving your luggage at the accomodation (they will do that for, you no problem) and then taking some time to enjoy more of Ubud?

Take a walk through rice fields, have a leisurely lunch, have a tour up to Kintamani. see temples, or whatever..and then at the end of the day, go to a spa in Ubud and have a nice massage and use their shower! (make sure they do have a shower first BTW).

Have early dinner in Ubud and then on to the airport.

Thanks Ubudpuppy. We are staying seven nights at Royal Kamuela and were just wondering if there is anything close to the airport worth seeing. Otherwise, yes, we will ask for a late afternoon transfer to the airport.

Or, since your flight is late evening, you can join a day cruise trip to nusa lembongan or Nusa penida, for snorkeling, water sport activity from the pontoonor or just enjoy the islands.

You can left your luggage at the tour operator (Bali hai, Bouty cruise or Quick silver).

You can leave your luggage at the airport at the 'left luggage' counter.

Or just book a cheap room close to the airport, drop your luggage off , and explore some more, have a nice dinner and check out a few hours before your flight time. That way you can shower etc and feel refreshed after a full day out and before an overnight flight.

I'd be doing what ubudpuppy suggests. Stay local and then make your way to the airport later.

We also took advantage of the spa facilities at the villa and relaxed and had a shower before having dinner and heading to the airport :)
