Is a train to Akko followed by bus to Tzfat still the simplest way? Do you know the cost of a Sherut to Akko? Is Nahariya better? Sherut to Haifa then bus? Than you
There is no sherut from the airport to Akko.
There are very few buses from Nahariya to Tzfat, whereas buses from Akko to Tzfat run every 15 to 30 minutes (depending on the time of day) and take an hour and 35 minutes for the journey.
So no contest - train to Akko and bus from there.
There are payphones at the airport but it is much easier to have a cellphone. You can easily rent one before you arrive. Use talknsave or Amigo. Which carrier doesn't offer coverage in Israel? I know the big ones do. (but you are usually better off renting)
this is so helpful!! thank you.
