What is the current GBP/THB rate and presume as usual it is best to bring GBP with us and change some at the airport and then at the exchanges in town?

Currently around its highest for quite some time now at around 48 to the pound but no doubt it will soon be talked down by the beloved politicians and bankers back in the UK and yes you will do considerably better changing over here than back there.

It's been about 48 baht and even over 49/50 to the £ for most part of the past year. Taking into account the security aspect cash or travellers cheques are best options.

Check out the Yahoo currency exchange, you can stamp it and cut out and take it with you so even if the rate changes you still have a guide to check on.
