Nothing ever affects Krabi. It is as laid back as ever.

Just a few less tourists, but then again, its low season!

Problem we have, is that our travel company have extended our final payment date till Tuesday and we need to make a decision. Due to fly to Bangkok 14/7 then onto Krabi 18/7. Really looking forward to it and great deal. Can change hols to another destination now without losing deposit but of course prices have rocketed and we have no crystal ball to predict what the situation will be! If our foreign office had just advised against Bangkok it would be ok as we would just skip that part and go to Krabi earlier or look at Khao Sak, but now they're saying the whole of Thailand!!!!!

We are a bit the same, due to fly to Bangkok 25 July and on to Hua Hin 30 J.uly - our travel company wont allow us to make any amendments at the moment so we have to pay up. We really want to go to Thailand but would be happy to miss Bangkok this time - our problem is if we only get cancelled at the last minute getting an alternative may be difficult as we are a party of 10. We are keeping all our fingers and toes crossed at the moment!!
