Change from BAHT to Norwegian Kroner

I'm going to Thailand in December. I have an foreign Mastercard with euro currency that I'm gonna use down there.

Which way is the best to take out money when I'm there? ATM? Withdrawal in a bank by paying with card?

And when I'm going home I'm gonna change all my baht back to NOK. Is that best to do in Thailand or Norway? And where?

Personally I would take cash and Exchange in Thailand.

ATM have high fees from 180 -220 Baht. You should ask your card provider and be aware of the Exchange rates.

Some banks will allow over the counter withdrawals for large amounts.

As far as changing back... Keep it for the next trip !!!. If you manage your FX ,you might have very little and you could do it at the Airport

For many things in Thailand cash is required to make payments..Sure Hotels ,Up market eating and Department stores will take a card. Taxi, small shops and massage place no.

Chok dee
