hi fordy

yes its worth a visit, a series of caberet style song and dance routines performed by the lady boys (can't tell with most of them though, they look stunning) a bit amature but a few laughs thrown in too, you can get photos with them after the show (have to pay them 100bhat each for a photo if you want it done) not a bad show though, only goes for about 90 min

costs 600bhat and 800 bhat for VIP seating inc hotel pick up

Was just wondering if it was at all appropriate for the children to see this?? I've heard it is pretty tame?? Kids are 7 & 9.

We took our 9 daughter and 11 year old son to Simon Caberet back in July 2009 along with some other adult friends....the show was ok, the only drawback was upon leaving the venue, we were mobbed by the show performers for photos and they demanded alot more money than what we paid them....some were a little bit agressive and kept asking for more money each time we moved five foot....all in all the kids said it was ok, but at least we saw it. I can't remember the cost of the show, maybe another reviewer may be able to help...

VIP seats are closer to the front and only about $6 difference, anyway its not a massive theater so may not matter, we went twice (2nd time with some people we were on hols with and they hadn't been) we got VIP both times so can't compare with ordinary seats as we haven't used them

Been twice, once cause it was the first time,5yrs later second cause a friend wanted to go. Same costumes and format. Great drink service though. It's worth a look if you have been.

I have been several times over the years

It first opened end of 1991 so has been going in Phuket for almost 20 years

Good value for B 600. Not as Grand as Alcazar of Tiffany's Pattaya but ok.
