Hey Julz

Youw will see little Laundry signs everywhere. They would all be pretty same same I would think so just find one close to the Merlin. Last year 50baht per kilo, we never get it ironed or anything just washed. It comes back wrapped in plastic and smelling nice.

Usually you pick it up next day.

Hi, there is a 7/11 opposite the Merlin and there are 2 laundry places close by. One at the clothes market in front of the 7/11 and one next door. Very cheap and we only get washed as well and not ironed. Cheers

Yep, 50 baht a kilo next to the 7/11. Just don't try to get anything washed on your last day. Every time they told us it would be 6.00 p.m. and we showed up the girl would say "oh sooorrrrryy sir, maybe 2 hour more". I'd just go back the next morning and it would be there. Great value for a family of 4, under $10 for all of the washing done.

Do you have to sort it in to temperatures and colours for them? Do they offer ironing service as well at these laundries?

Hi. We've used various laundry outlets all over Thailand for wash and iron. Dropped off colours, whites, blacks, all different materials, casual clothes, good clothes, underwear. They sort it all. We've ever had any clothes damaged by colour change, shrinkage etc.

Everything has always come back perfectly clean, pressed and smelling fresh.

Hope this helps.

Nat
