Booking Graceland Resort

We, a family of 3 are hoping to stay at Graceland Resort in September for 8 nights. Wondering if anyone can tell me the cheapest way to book. We probably would like a deluxe pool view room. I have checked Qantas holidays online and can get a triple room for $868AUD. This includes 4 free nights. Breakfast included on paid nights. It says they you must purchase Breaky on the free nights. Not sure if this is included in the price or not. This was for deluxe room, there was no option for booking pool view as the next category was the mini suite or something. Any advice on rooms to request or booking agents to get best price would be appreciated.

Go to flight centre or similar , they usually offer Gracelands stay 8 pay 4 etc, but insist on pool view or garden view., usually breakfast is included all days. The pool/garden view rooms have a king size bed & a double. The standard deluxe rooms you may end up with a view of the carpark or brickwall.

All the best

Breakfast on the free nights will not be included in the price, but is compulsory, so you will have to pay for it at hotel rates. This is a common scam, but not usually one practised by Qantas holidays. I'd certainly get confirmation on this as breakfast at full price for 3 people is expensive at the hotels usual rates. As mentioned, legitimate free night deals usually include breakfast for all nights. I booked Qantas holidays (thru Harvey World travel) last year for exactly this at Patong Merlin and it was free brekky for the free nights as well.

What dates September ? Last week or so is school holidays, which can affect the price. If you give dates, those of us bored on night shift sometimes hunt around for deals... just to keep up to date with prices (and no matter what I come up with, Monica seems to beat it).

Also try Holiday Specialists they are a wholesaler (they have a website) we got a good deal with them for July school holidays. There are 6 of us (only 1 classed as a child) 3 nights in Bangkok, 10 nights graceland deluxe pool view rooms x 2, return transfers to/from hotels, full breakfast each day and return Airfares with Thai. Worked out $1850 per person. Best part was I booked in September last year and only had to pay $600 deposit with balance due 2 May.

We booked through Flight Centre and got pay 5 free 5 with breakfasts included on all days.

We checked with TA forum posters in regard to the best rooms to book and were advised Pool Room Deluxe.

Sounds like a great place to stay and plenty of positive posts on here.

Enjoy your holiday.

Was that another Monica or me :) LOL

Is it 2 adults and a child ?

These rates are not offering any Free night deals, they are what they charge normal for those 8 nights

Just a quick look without searching at all , 2 adults + 1 child for those dates total Deluxe, that was $ 942, all tax, service, all breakfasts

When they have those compulsory breakfast you will probably find it will be added to your hotel bill 'there', so a big question is how much ? I see it at $ 7.66 per person from the website I am looking at, so $ 7.66 for 3 for 4 nights = $92 , if that is the price ( doubt it would be less ) would make the Qantas deal, ( if they have not included the breakfast charge for the Free 4 nights ) to $ 960

Superior again inc all tax, service and All breakfast for all nights $ 878 ( deposit about $ 130 when you confirm, balance is 'normally' 2 weeks before you arrive )

For The deluxe Pool View $ 1,003.81 inc tax, service and breakfast for all 3 on all nights ( I think about $ 140 depsit on that one )

Looks to me like the 4 Free nights is a temptation, but do the calculation , the big question is how much are they going to say for those breakfast charges to your Qantas bill, or you pay to the hotel, but you need to include that in your calculation

Saying a price 'includes Free' nights obviously gets people excitied, but in the end it is only the bottom-line total that means anything.

I would also suggest perhaps sending a fax to Graceland and ask them to please advise their Best offer for those dates

Use fax, don't email -

Keep it clear, simple,bold typed.
