Yes you can, cheaper to buy on streets tho
I hear spirits are reasonable but wine is expensive-would it b best to take wine into the country?
Max is 1 liter per person so hopefully more than you in your party. Make sure carry only 1 liter - thai dutyman can hammer you otherwise.
Remember if you carry your bottles on board you probably can not bring them when you change flight because of the security rules. They have to go in your luggage.
No. Because you are flying into Singapore you will not be able to take your Oz duty free with you from Singapore to Phuket. Buy your duty free in Singapore (much cheaper than Oz). You will buy it and it will be delivered to your departure gate - it is recommended to allows 90 nminutes. Our trio has just done this - Melb/Singapore/Phuket and return Phuket/Singapore/Melb
As Dale says buy it in Singapore, it's cheaper and you wouldn't be allowed to bring it from Australia anyway.
Hey mr1426 forums from London, whats with all the !!!!!!!?Edited: 15 April 2013, 15:38
I normally take 6 bottles of wine in my suitcase and I have never had a problem. Im not much of a spirit drinker
I'm not getting this duty free thing. I thought you could bring 1 litre back to Australia per person but have since been told you can't bring back from Thailand any more. has anyone recently.bought duty free grog back to aus and when should you get it on the way or on the way home? My son is leaving tomorrow morning. Thanks Debbie
