DVDs and Oil Painters

Hi just wondering if anyone knows any good places to buy DVDs that work back in Australia for a cheap price and if you can give them a list of what you want if they don't have them such as box sets and tv series. Also any good oil painters in Patong for a reasonable price around $100 AUD.

Cheers

Can't help on the oil paintings but as far as DVDs we bought quite a few outside Hello Kitty Shop on the beach road in Patong. Can't fault the quality. They should be able to help with 'requests'.

We've also bought them at Wkend Night Markets and other ad lib places - in our past four trips have only ever had one dvd that wasn't real flash.

Beach road is as good as any for DVDs. I got a few in Bangala Road. We gave them a list and apart from some of the very latest we got what we wanted.

Hi Brodie,

There are many artists in Phuket that do oil paintings, we have brought many from the artist in the Patong O Top Market, Holiday Inn end, also from Soi Patong Tower just near sweets restaurant, they are both very good and prices are a little negotiable but price depends on size. We have a Buddha on 2 frames joined its 160x80cm and we paid around $330.00AUD. Also kitty's in Soi Patong Tower in the back room for great movies.

It has been said before but Hello Kitty get's my vote too.

They are to be found at the main entrance of the OTOP Market on the road that runs parallel to beach road.

The OTOP market is opposite the back of the Holiday in resort/hotel The Hello Kitty shop is to the right of the main sign,

It opens after 11:00am and is hard to miss as it's just all pink. just walk in and ask for DVDs and he will take you to the back room.

Go early in your trip and that way if he doesn't have what your looking for he may be able to get it for you

No worries just be careful you don't overload the thread with other stuff, my advice would be take a few days and write a wish list of all the thing you would want to buy, and give it a title with clothes and shoes it

That will attract the people who are in the know on that subject, you will get a much better feedback and response.

I honestly can't help on that subject.
