We weren't that impressed with Kan Eang@Pier but had a great feed from the fishermen at Rawai.

Pick your seafood from the fishermen on one side of the road and walk across to the restaurants who cook it for 100baht/kilo

With a group of 15 i would go to 1 of the floating restaurants at Laem Hin. Personally I would choose bang Mud.

Great to go over by longtail (free) to the restaurant which is indeed a floating restaurant between Phuket Island and Coconut Island.

Food is good and very fresh. Most still alive when ordered.he floating restaurants are a nicer experience.

Some restaurants in Rawai (like Sararoy) also good, but with a group the floating restaurants are a nicer experience.

Im with Manual, definately go to the Floating restaurants and Bang Mud is our favorite as well, will be fantastic with a group & a totally different experience. If you happen to go to Rawai then Salaloy along the beachfront is very good as well:)

I would suggest Kan Eang, the one not at the pier. Excellent quality and service, a hell of a lot cheaper then the one at the pier, and lost of places alongside the water.

I really love that place.

Bung Mud does not serve alcohol. Are there any in the same location that do serve cold beer please?
