pay as you go at resort

Are you able to pay for things as you go when you stay at the resort or do they use the deposit you supp;y when you arrive? which is the better option as I will be paying a cash deposit?

in some hotels we used pay as you go for drinks and meals but last time at the banthain when we were checking out they told us the ammount and took 15% off the bill as we paid in cash. they then ripped up credit card deposit. as we are staying there again soon we will do this again

We will be there on the 20th Sept ,we have already paid in full our accommodation ,we book through a web site and paid them . but we will charge everything to our room ,and keep at check on it every couple of days we will ask for a print out of our account ,as we our taking cash across we will have money over Baht and pay them when we check out . if we have not got enough we will put it on our credit card , make sure you tell your bank your dates, as if you use your account over there atm or anything they will stop all payments as they think your card has been stolen , Happy Holiday

were are you staying .
