What hotel? On the beach front?

Want to stay on the beach front on patong beach, but not right in the centre. A nice 10min walk to the centre would be nice.

First timers here so have no idea what to expect. Want to pay Inbetween $100-$150 a night and am going between 20-25october.

Hope someone can help with a hotel :D

quite a lot are, seaview is at the quiet end of patong & coral beach is further south but is extremely hilly-when we were there a few years back the climbing up all the steps gave you a workout every day,

royal palm, holiday inn, merlin are in the noisier areas, horizon is close to beach but quieter,

there are 2 right on the beach towards the north end.

gracelands is at the far north end,

can't think of any more :)

theres heaps of b&b type places too.:)

get google maps & type in thaweewong rd.patong & you can 'walk' down the whole place.

Gracelands is located about 10 mins north of town and directly across the road from patong beach. Good area with mini mart , laundry and eateries all close by

You could check out 'B-Lay Tong' Hotel which is located down the Northern end of Patong or 'Patong Seaview' which is located in Southern Patong . Both are just on the other side of the road of the beach .

Hi

If you want beach front ( meaning right on the beach) in Patong then check out Impiana and La flora but the price might be more than your budget. That sad October is low season the price should be low at that time.

The other that is directly on the beach is Patong Bay Garden, Only 3 star, but if you choose their bestter rooms,Andaman Studios and Juniors suites, they are quite good and they are still in your price bracket.

Also Bliss Suites South End Directly opposite the beach is really good too

You may have to compromise because there's not that many hotels directly on the beach in Patong, you should also check out the Kata Beach resort in Kata, it's directly on the beach and there's bars and restaurants nearby and Kata has a nice village vibe.

You have no chance of getting a hotel on the beach for $50/60. Would be closer to $150 plus.

Thanks for all the replies!

It's just so hard trying to find what I think is the perfect hotel without seeing in before. I'm forcing myself to make a decision by tomorrow so I can start booking places etc.
