Decent hotel in central Patong with swim-up bar?

My partner and I are planning a trip to Patong in October 2013. We were in Patong last year in July and stayed at the B-Lay Tong which we loved but don't want to stay there again as we would like to be a bit closer to Bangla Road.

Can anyone suggest a hotel that is walking distance to Bangla/Jungceylon that has a swim up bar but is not too over priced? (I know I'm making it hard!) We like the Kee but $100+ a night in Patong is a bit much.

Appreciate any advice :)

Thanks!

Dear M,

This hotel out

1. http://www.patongbaygarden.com/ it is beach front and near Bangla.

2. millenniumhotels.com/millenniumpatongphuket/ which is inside Jungcelyon Shopping center

3. http://www.phuketgraceland.com/ . It is good location and nice room and has pool bar. But price may over your budget.

The hotel is in the location you like. Price you may find some discount in some online booking agent or local agent. But for Swim up bar , I am not sure what is that mean. You may need to check in website.

Best regards,

As said Banthai is a good choice

Graceland is north end just up from BLay so probably wouldn't suit you?

Also look at:

Patong Merlin

Burasari

Mecure

Baumanburi

Thara Patong

All should have rooms within your budget being low season, central and pool bars

Happy planning

Thara Patong doesn't have a swim up bar. I'm staying there now.

Thanks all, Banthai is looking to be my favourite! Think I'll go over my intended budget for it as it looks amazing.
