I am about to use the credit option of 28degree card at jeweller do I select AUD or local currancy ?

Always local currency to avoid a horrific exchange rate (called Dynamic Currency Conversion).

Definitely local. The 28 degree card has (at the moment) no charges, but if you convert to AUD a charge (ususlly 3%) is levied by the local bank.

The 28 degrees will charge you what ever the rate is on xe.com they charge no other fees.

Yes, that is applicable for a payment in local currencvy. If payment is made in AUD the exchange rate depends not on 28degree.
