Rawai beach

Hi..I am staying in October and was just wondering if Rawai is the right place to stay. We have rented a Villa with a private pool as we are looking to relax and we also do not want the noisy tourist places

You want to relax and not be in a touristy place so have rented a private villa in Rawai and are now checking your choice?

Would make more sense to check in advance, but yes, depending on the location of the villa you have made a good choice. Some nice bars and restaurants in Rawai and it is not a noisy touristy place.

Hi ,

If you have rented a private villa most are quietly located and very private. I prefer the private villa option in Rawai to a hotel. Some of the restaurants in the area offer a delivery service to your villas so that you can dine in. Recycle Restaurant near Rawai Palm Beach Resort is very good.

Rawai is a great area, more calm and more of "the old thai feeling"then Kata or Karon areas.

They have many good options of seafood restaurants next to the beach where its superb to enjoy the evenings. The beach is not that "daytime beach friendly" its affected of the tides.

If you like to go to a nice day beach then grap a taxi or tuk tuk and you have a 10 minutes ride and you can choose between Nai Harn or Ya Nuii beach.

Enjoy your holiday!
