As Lily states 2 pin (round) European adaptor.

A wee tip....

Buy a couple or 3 and keep them on your appliances, rather than "in the wall"

That way you wont forget them when leaving.

There's two types of sockets deployed in Tunisia and countries using the '2-pin' system, the older 'type C' socket doesn't have an earth, the newer 'type E' sockets have an earth pin coming out of the socket, see travel-adaptor.com/countries/…Tunisia.php

If you buy an adapter with a hole for the earth pin it will work in both types of sockets, for example, http://www.amazon.co.uk/CONTINENTAL-Schuko-European-Earthered-ADAPTOR/dp/B00267KIU2/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1369902107&sr=8-2&keywords=european+travel+adapter

If you buy an adapter without the hole for the earth pin you will not be able to insert it into newer sockets and it will only work with the older non-earthed sockets.

oops That link didn't work well

Bingo

If you encounter any problems in the hotel

Reception will happily give you an adaptor

Alternatively local shops stock them

So don't worry about it;-)

Enjoy Tunisia

yes tim,

we found out about the new third pin, we were lucky as we had one so we used it to plug the small multi socket extension to charge the battery's, not high power use,
