Mel,

It would help if you mention he hotel hotel you are staying at and what activities you are interested in?

Weatherwise, September is still a hot month with some very hot days. Be preapred for some serious heat, and remeber to pack some sun cream and inscet repellents plus some head wears (hats or caps).

Cheers

Hi Mel

As Cas states I wee bit more info from you would help

For instance

What interests do you have ?

Do you want to explore the sites ?

Do you just want a hotel/resort based holiday ?

What basis ? Half board ? All inclusive ? For how long ?

what kind of budget for hotel ?

Hammamet, Sousse and Port el Kantaoui are the most popular destinations with say Thomas Cook and Thomson from the UK

Have a look at their websites for ideas on resort hotels

Mel,

You have been to Turkey and Egypt. So Tunisia won't come as a shock as it is more less of same culture and tradition.

As for resorts you have got good info from Mick anf Joe. Hotels mentioned all ouze luxury and confort and loacted in very nice sandy beaches. Activities, day trips and excursions are plentiful. Your hotel reception would have all the info you may need.

Mick,

Haven't heard anything yet. Finger crossed!!!

Joe,

No Bugibba this year? Will be off late Oct/eraly Nov. Time to re-visit Grapevine and the lovely Veronica.

Cheers all,

Cas

All ready been this year, but no next year. Cant afford it and running out of days. Booked Mexico with Virgin, staying at the town of Playa del Carmen. 60km south of Cancun. Dead excited about this one

@Dustyjoe<<<Just got back from Turkey.>>>

Enjoyed your review. Nice that the hotel responded too. We enjoyed the Marmaris/Icmeler/Turunc area out of season, not sure I'd fancy Marmaris in the heat of summer though. Turkey is great, so many different parts to visit, glorious natural scenery, and it's dead easy to get around.

It was 45 to 50 degrees, hot hot hot. I knew they would reply. Did you see the photo of the laid table? There was worse than that on other days, but never had the camera with me at that time.
