Rui Marilla - Evening Wear for men

I've just read that men have to wear long trousers in the evening to be allowed into the main restaurant - would below the knee chino's / jeans be suffice.

Smiler

If the hotel is strict regarding men wearing long trousers in the evening for dinner.

I suppose the answer is no!

Failing that !

A cheap pair of chinos from BHS or primark wont break the budget, will it !

Failing that!

Buy a cheap pair in the resort

Failing that !

Don't bother with evening meal and just go to the bar !

Mick

Many years ago I was stopped going into a hotel restaurant with a pair of adidas shorts on

A female guest we befriended (her husband too ,just in case you think it was Benidorm) of a similar size to me suggested ,for a laugh, I wear one of her dresses (am no that big)

They thought I would say no ..... More fool them

So i reappeared at the dining room in a dress and wig we got from animation team member

Full on panstick too !

The staff just cracked up as did many guests

I got my dinner

But a few snobby guests rolled their eyes

One old dear choked on her wine when i asked her to pass the salt

Have a nice one

Mick

PS

The next night i had trousers on !

My wife said the dress didn't match my shoes
