Barut Lara Resort & Spa

Have just booked for two weeks from the 15th June staying

in a Junior Suite. We have never been to Turkey as we normally

go the far east just wanted to go some where nearer home this time.

Do you need to take malaria tablets as the brouchere recommends?

We will be all inclusive, do you need much spending money ?

What currency will we require to take

What will the weather be like in June.

Hello cheers, lucky you, its a fantastic hotel !

It really is "all inclusive" so you wont need much unless you want to go outside of complex into Antalya etc.

Also you may wish to tip for fantastic service, but everyone gives that as standard !!!

We just made sure we tipped a few of our favourite staff at the end & a tip in either Euros,Sterling or Turkish Lira is fine !

Weather in June should be fantastic, 30s at least but there are mozzes by then so beware !

One more point for anyone, I went to donate blood last week & was refused because of my trip to Antalya last July. Apparently that area is on danger list & means you cannot donate blood until a year after your return !

Malaria tablets - you gotta be joking - this is a modern meditteranean resort not the midst of deepest darkest Africa!! As I understand it - you only need malaria tablets, possibly, in the very eastern remote areas of turkey - certainly not at any of the mediterranean resorts. However - that doesn't mean that there are no mozzies - still plenty of them - but not the malaria kind - just your normal blood sucking meditteranean mozzies (however, this year in kalkan they were pretty non existent!!).

Enjoy your holiday!!
