currency and clothing

Going to Lara Beach resort for a week starting 16th March looked at weather and it shows 16 to 18 degrees. Wife needs to know if ok for summer clothes through day and thick cardigan for night. Also had different advise on wether to take Turkish lira or Euros. Echange rate is far better for Lira at moment. Want to go to Antalya and buy pressies etc. Any advise welcome

You're in Turkey so its only logical to have lira on you to spend.

Regarding clothing summer clothes thru day and cardigan at night should get you thru but just in case pack a jumper and long pants.

I experienced 18c at Alanya in the middle of January this year and nearly went for a swim :)

Understand the point on Lira we have had so much advise some saying Euros others saying Lira even some saying take UK currency. It seems they accept anything but we are going with Lira. As for clothing wife just worried it might be cold during day, however as it is a holiday then we should treat it as such and be positive weather will be lovely!!

That's the attitude to have linmal. Even if the weather takes a turn for the worse you can always get some cheap clothes locally to get you by.

Hope you have a ball.
