Hi Peter

It is best to shop around but normally best to book when holidays go on sale late April early May.

Monarch have had some good prices for this year but do not fly from all Airports but you should be fine in Kent

Thomas Cook /Direct holidays have usually been the best prices for us but now Direct Holidays seem to have merged with Thomas Cook as prices used to differ even though basically the same company but now seem to be exactly the same prices and website same format.Thomson have both usually.

The Barut Lara is usually more expensive but has a more comprehensive All Inclusive package. It is being renovated this winter. The Baia and some renovations done last winter..

Hi Peter.

Having been to both my first choice would be the Barut it is more expensive but you get a lot more for your money, having been to 3 hotels in Lara the Barut is our favorite it is the first drop off,it is an older one but as Toady says is having a refurb at the end of the year.If you read the reviews you will realize why it is number 1 and has been for any years.we are going back next May for our 6th time and we are just novices.

Hi we havent stopped at the Barut but have been to the Baia lovely hotel. The best advice is to book it early as holidays just keep going up. I have booked for next July and its already gone up nearly £ 200.

Hi Toady, we cannot wait just want a break in the sun. We have booked the Zeynep for next year we were going to do Egypt but the hotel we like is around 5k which we cannot afford next year so we found the Zeynep which was a really good price so hubby said lets book that and save for the Egypt one.

Hi Aidloz

We had a great holiday at the former Sun Zeynep , it was £1002 for 2 weeks for Easter. Our son had a great holiday. He went horse riding with the kids club even though pre holiday said he was to old at 10 to go to the club. He was in the kids show and some happy memories of that holiday. It was about 10 year ago. Are you in the old or new hotel? There used to be a lovely nature walk for tortoise spotting but suspect that will have gone now to make way for the new hotel.

We are in the resort not the golf. It has cost £ 2500 for the four of us 2 weeks in July a bargain :).
