Flying this Saturday and the Passport expires in 4 months!!!

We fly this Saturday evening and just noticed that the wife's passport will expire in November!

1. What are the chances she will not even board the flight at Gatwick?

2. Will not get through customs in Turkey and be put on the next available flight home?

We're going to try and attempt to get an appointment with the London Passport office for an emergency renewal this week and pay the premium price but have no idea if it can be turned around?

Anyone travelled with similar experience in this year? All advice is welcome

It will depend on the airline whether they let her on the flight as a lot of airlines have a strict 6 month rule. Maybe get in touch with them and ask. Hopefully you will get the appointment for this week and manage to get a new passport or she could be in trouble.
