Best way to travel from Antalya to Cappadoccia

Planning to travel in May between Antalya and Cappadoccia and realize that flights route through Istanbul. Wondering if anyone knows the best way to get between these two locations?

Is a flight still the most efficient means to get between these two places...or are there other ways that we should consider. If so, do you recommend bus or train?

We had planning to fly into Istanbul, fly to Capadoccia and then get to Antalya before heading home.

Thanks!

All the tour operators in Antalya also offer 3 days and 2 nights in Cappadoccia from Antalya for just 60 Euros - that includes - accommodation - breakfast - dinner - and entrance fees to all the attractions - most economical way to go - but it is a bit of a journey on the coach - and they also stop at - carpet factory - jewellery factory - leather factory -

Hi,

If you are a group of 15 or 20 people, you can take a tour there from 60 Euros..But you will not be staying in Cave Hotel for that price..Travel agents in Antalya Old Town will charge you much more if you book a private tour there for 2 people.60 Euros not for 2 people but for a group..It is 8 hours long drive to get there. The best way is to take a bus to Nevşehir from Antalya..

TurkishArchaeologist - That is not true that you need a big group to get the 60 Euros tour of Cappadoccia - we went last year - there were only 2 of us - and we only paid 60 Euros - yes, they put you on a coach with about 15 others but you do not have to have 15 in your own group to be a part of it - well worth the money and the cheapest way to go -

That was what I meant AngelaSurrey. If you pay 60 Euro, you can not stay in a Cave Hotel and taken to shops. Not all travel agents in Antalya are offering with 60 Euro any more. At the moment, there is no group of 15 others or any booking that you can join. The best way is flying if possible. That is what I suggest..

Thank you so very much for your replies...very helpful! I think in order to save time we'll try to find a flight between the two locations!
