The Elixir or The Rhapsody!

Have a choice of both hotels, can anyone make a recommendation.

In terms of walking time to town which is closer?

Hi Eternity!

We have stayed at the Elixir (so we are biased!) and would recommend it definitely. It probably is further from town and is in a more elevated position (steeper hill to climb) but it's an easy walk down and we tended to be lazy and use a taxi to get home at night.

The Elixir is a really friendly unpretentious and relaxing place, we had a superior room looking out over the pool and loved it. There are lovely views from the roof top pool (which we had to ourselves) over Kalamar Bay. We liked it so much we are returning in September this year.

We did visit the Rhapsody and were made very welcome. We had a good look around but felt that the rooms weren't as traditional and the quality just didn't seem as good. Can't really explain it but I think the Elixir is a bit more classy really.

Both hotels are with Anatolian Sky who we have used several times and found them to be v good.. The prices are very competitive as well; it's worth phoning up to get the price and any special offers.

Hope you get booked and have a good time!

Thanks for the response...............

We have ended up going with The Rhapsody as in the end there werent any rooms available at The Elixir for the dates we needed.

Cant wait to get back to Kalkan, 2 years away and I am itching!!!!
