I'd just like to say how wonderful Dalaman Cars are! We rented a car via them this summer ( 2012) and picked it up from the airport with no hassle whatsoever. Staff were helpful and efficient. However, unfortunately we had to go back early due to a bereavement and the people at Dalaman Cars could not have been more helpful. They were kind and offered loads of help with getting back etc and gave all the info we needed for the insurance. Thank you Cath!

I would certainly book with them again. They were cheaper than anyone else, they are efficient and helpful when you have a crisis. Can't ask for more than that!

Got to agree about Dalaman cars, we started using them 2 years ago. A 1st class service every time since .

Abi Travel based in Kalkan are also very good and recommend.

My girlfriend and myself have just returned from Turkey and yet another faultless service from Dalaman cars! We decided to opt out of the package transfers and drive ourselves from the airport and back again, the guys were there waiting at the meeting point with another spotless car ready to go, I really do not understand why anyone would use another Company, the Team at Dalaman cars provide a service that would make the likes of Avis proud but at an affordable price!

AVOID, AVOID, AVOID....

We had booked a car with Dalaman Cars for 12 days in July 2013. The rates were reasonable but the service diabolical.

1. The car was late arriving so had to wait around.

2. The car was dirty inside and out and the front O/S tyre was half flat.

3. The rep wanted us to just sign so he could go, but when we refused the Manager was called.

4. We had to wait another half an hour for him to arrive.

5. When he did we were ignored and then spoken to as if we were tourist dirt.

6. He then called his Manager. When the Manager's Manager arrived the customer service experience sunk even lower..

7. We were talked to by him as if we were complete idiots and no the car was perfect...

So we wlaked away from that arrangement and instead took a Yellow Cab to our destination and what a complete transformation in the way we were dealt with - first class service and more importantly shown full respect as their customers.

So AVOID these people at Dalaman Cars, as they don't have a clue as to Customer Service or Respect.

Having travelled to Dalaman numerous times over the last few years, I have to say this trip we are on now which I used Dalaman Cars for, is the first time EVER I have come out of the terminal and been met by the representative, waiting ready with my cars there! WoW! Very impressive. Normally I have to ring the company, then wait for anything upto 90 minutes in the past, but not Dalaman Cars, VERY IMPRESSED.

We hired two jeeps (party of 8) which are fabulous. Clean and well kept. The email communication was within the hour and again first class. We even got a transfer for our luggage, which Cath organized and this was also waiting with the jeeps!

Having been stressed with poor car hire service many many times in Turkey, what a pleasant surprise and will never use any other company again. VERY IMPRESSED!

Hello to all. I've just booked a car at Dalaman Cars. They've assured me via e-mail that they take my credit card number at the time of car pick up, anyway without charging any deposit. But their web site talks about "security deposit" to be left for the vehicle (http://www.dalamancars.com/terms.html http://www.dalamancars.com/dalaman_car_hire_tips.aspx). Could anybody please give me information about this question? Usually do they charge (or not) a security deposit on credit card? Thanks a lot.

like many/most car hire companies they take a swipe of a credit card so that if there is any damage not covered by the insurance etc. they have your details and can charge the card, I have used them on many occasions and never had any damage and never had them take any money from the card.

I would confirm what Gyrapix said above, they take a swipe just in case, we too have never had a problem with them.

I would also like to let everyone know about how good they were to us last month. We had to urgently return home to the UK, I called their emergency number at 1am on Sunday morning to let them know that we had just booked a fight that left Dalaman at 8am that morning, so the car would have to be returned to them at about 6am. They were there waiting for us, and had opened up just for us. We were driven straight to the airport terminal. The service and care were first class, I cannot thank them enough for their kindness and help at a very difficult time.

To me the mark of a good company is when things go wrong, Dalaman Cars get ten out of ten.
