Zeki's restaurant

Is Zeki's restaurant still in Kalkan? It was about midlevels and had a framed signed letter from John Le Carre outside. If it has gone does anyone know where Pauline and Metin have moved to as any new restaurant they have opened will be excellent.

Pauline & Metin moved to open an Italian La Terraza a few years ago. It is located a bit further along than Doy Doy, towards Salt & Peper and you get into it from the side street where the jeans shop is. Metin's brothers carried on with Zekis for a year or so but have now moved into La Terraza with Pauline & Metin and seem to have combined the menus. We have enjoyed the food there very much.

They had moved two years ago - now down the main street closer to the harbour and on the right - it's called Zeki's ??? (something Italian I believe). Think they did some Italian style food but to be honest we were not struck on it.

We were in Kalkan last week and I saw it was still there - sorry can't remember the name. Believe they still had sticky toffee pud on the menu!

Many thanks to both of you for the info. Is the new restaurant called Terraza as I'd like to find it on the web?

Hi Julia, we've just come back from a fabulous holiday in Kalkan and ate at Zekis, yes it is called Zeki's la Terrazza, had a really lovely meal here, their pasta is delicious.

Many thanks. We used to visit Kalkan a great deal but not for some years and wonder if it is still quiet or more touristy. Last visit they were just introducing banana boats around Mahal - shame as spoilt the peace. Did you notice Zinbad's restaurant and rooms? It was run by a turkish lady who would discuss the menu with you when you booked and cooked according to your likes. She would then explain which areas of Turkey the influences had come from for the meal. Fantastic food. Thanks again
